198111 I met Canon Pte Ltd Managing Director Mr Oda, at their reception @ Teck Wai Building! I suggested to him to set up Canon Office Products Club & Also Canon Photography Club. Thus that is the first Canon social Club outside of Japan.

199506 I am invited to be the Hons Director & Hons VP of CommerceNet (Non-for-Profits Org under POTUS), 199804 I am appointed the Hons Chair of CommerceNet Inc., also Hons Chair for Global eCommerce Board – GECB to promote Internet & e-Commerce Worldwide.


From 1995 till 1999 Jerry Yang, Yahoo always invited to give speech on the future of Internet.


In 2004 I become paid member was given 3 other free members which close to me, that includes my only daughter Natalie Tan L. L. & My Photography Mentor Ben Ng whom attended Western Australia Art College (Now Western University of Australia) 4 years Diploma in Display Arts & Photography in (Graduated in 1972), both are living in Singapore. Ben Ng S. H. Foto & Graphic Studio doing IBM photos developments & printing, I get to know him since 19750721 when I joint IBM.

It is noted that in 197303 In Singapore Technical Institute I met Kenneth Tan Keng Hiong we are in the same class of Applied Electrons – Electronics Engineering, he is also a photography enthusiastic, he love to take Color pictures. thus I becoming taking color pictures on his encouragement!


Incidentally, my IBM colleague Larry Ho Qwee Eng is also a Photography Enthusiastic , he also Share with me his knowledge on photography. Larry Ho Wife Janet was the Classmate of Ben Ng wife Helen, in their secondary school days.


Actually; 1961 my first Mentor in photography is Cousin Uncle Wee Jian Ping 建平; He thought me; how to take pictures using his Yashica Camera. he is a Malaya citizen, Live in Pontian; Johor, Malaysia. Also the place my late parents met when there arriving from China 1930‘s.


Then my grandpa Bi Shan 碧三 Chen = Tan is the Neptune of the Sea , The other Grandpa is Ji Hong 济洪 Wee = Ng is the Political Commissioner appointed by Generalissimo Jiang Khai Shek Republic of China for S.E.A. Whom is one of the founder of Malaya (19630831 Malaya become Malaysia) Chinese Association.

Then 2005 I am informed that flickr would be sold to Yahoo.

I left our country in 20100316, When 2017 flickr sold off by Yahoo, I am not aware of it. Because C-China banded flickr!!


During the time period in C-China, I am investigating Intellectual Capital / Property Theft’s; Clones / Counterfeiting HW SW & Consumables; I discovered that there are few sites based in Hangzhou, Guangzhou actually cloning flickr!
